Overview

LAN Scout is a local network scanner. It is designed to inspect devices and services on the network your device is currently connected to.

Data Collection

LAN Scout does not collect, store, sell, or transmit personal data to the developer or to third-party analytics services.

Local Network Scans

When you run a scan, LAN Scout may detect local network information such as IP addresses, hostnames, MAC addresses where the platform makes them available, hardware vendors, open ports, and possible web management links. This information is processed on your device to show scan results.

Exports

You can export scan results to CSV or Excel files. Exported files are created only when you choose to export them. You control where those files are saved or shared.

Network Access

LAN Scout requests Local Network permission because discovering devices and services on your current network is the app's core feature.

Third Parties

LAN Scout does not include advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, or analytics SDKs.
